About Gigi

So how did this wonderful adventure begin? I guess with my love of dogs, especially poodles. When I was 10 my mom brought home a poodle puppy which she hid in the closet from my dad who did not want a dog. Of course he fell in love with Frenchy at first sight. So for most of my life I’ve had a poodle or other dog as a dear companion.

My oldest daughter Christah, of Carmel Classy Doodles, introduced me to the world of Doodles. I could not resist these bouncing balls of wavy fur, who covered me with kisses, followed me everywhere "even to the bathroom", and love to sit on my lap. The fact that they did not shed or cause allergies was also a bonus. After helping out in her business for several years I took the plunge and added two female Doodles to our family from my daughters Doodle bloodline, and the fun began. I have since added two more golden doodles and the most recent bundle of joy is Loralei, our Cavapoo.

While my husband Bill and I do most of the day-to-day involvement with the dogs, I have to give credit to my daughters Christah and Caylah, and my two grandchildren, Stella-Grace age 12, and Montgomery, age 9. They pitch in with all kinds of help such as taking pictures, cleaning cages, feeding and watering, bathing, and taking them outside for sunshine. The most important daily task is socialization. No one can resist picking up these balls of fur when walking by them. I could not do all of this without my family‘s help which leads to puppies that are well balanced, healthy and happy. They never meet a stranger and immediately love their new owners.
